Developer of the RKC Code for Computer Entry of Microbiological Data and the companion Microbial Information System (MICRO–IS) and is helping establish data networks among the culture collections in Thailand and Vietnam. Under a UNIDO contract, participated in the development of a Global Environmental Facility proposal on the microbial ecology of Vietnam A number of projects under development, aim to improve communications and cooperation among scientists and technologists to enhance scientific infrastructures and development capacities in less developed countries. Almost all projects will involve Bionomics International in the design and implementation stages. Usually, others will take over long-term operations. Activities are pursued on a not-for-profit, private basis.
